St. Ann Environment Assessment

Client: City of St. Ann, MO
Owner: City of St. Ann, MO
Year Completed: 2013

The City of St. Ann, MO identified the need to improve the transportation facilities in a corridor area along the south side of Interstate 70 between Cypress Road and Air Flight Drive at the northern border of St. Ann to St. Louis Lambert International Airport. The intent of the project was to create a strategic plan for the corridor that includes recommended roadway improvements, recommends land use development/redevelopment strategies, prepares documents for NEPA environmental approval for the selected design concept, and identifies potential sources of funding for construction of proposed roadway improvements.

M3’s role in the project included performing a floodplain study on Coldwater Creek to determine the effect of proposed improvements and to recommend roadway and bridge configurations that would minimize impact to the floodplain.
