M3 Engineering staff helped Engineers Without Borders, MS&T Chapter in their effort to design and build a drinking water system in Nahualate, Guatemala. M3 staff provided professional guidance to MS&T students and helped model and design the storage and distribution system. The system included a 200 foot deep water well, an at-grade storage tank and several thousand feet of 6” PVC distribution piping to serve the community. M3 staff also travelled to Guatemala several time to help install portions of the system.
