M3 provided design and construction administration for 9 separate streambank projects for MSD, located throughout the St. Louis region. The stream projects ranged from 400 feet to 1,200 feet in length. The purpose of the projects was to develop a solution to alleviate stream bank erosion impacting the rear yards residential properties along the streams. The project included biostabilization for each stream with features such as a riffle pool complex, rock toe, wrapped earth with plantings and rock vanes. M3 performed bid evaluatiopns, site visits, addressed shop drawings, RFI’s, change orders and resident’s concerns.
