M3 Engineering was part of the team that designed a replacement for the Old Halls Ferry Bridge over Halls Ferry Creek, located 0.10 miles north of State Route AC/New Halls Ferry Road. M3 performed a floodplain study on the stream to ensure that the proposed structure would not cause an increase in the 100 year and the 15-year water surface elevations. M3 was also tasked with performing an assessment to ensure ADA compliance, as well as designing a new enclosed storm sewer system adjacent to the new 70’ span bridge. The project was permitted through the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and the US Army Corps of Engineers.
